Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about pricing, frameworks, RAM, hardware, backups, refunds, and support.

What does Minecraft server hosting cost?

One plan covers everything: $20 per month plus a one time $20 setup fee. There are no tiers, add ons, or surprise fees; those are the only two numbers you will ever pay. Full details are on the pricing page.

What is included in the plan?

The plan includes your choice of framework (Vanilla, Paper, Spigot, Purpur, Forge, or Fabric), a RAM allocation that starts at 2 GB and scales in 2 GB steps, full panel access with a live console once the panel opens, server backups on our published backup schedule, and support through tickets on the website and our Discord.

Can I sign up and play today?

Client accounts and support tickets are live now, so you can create your account today and reach us right away. Server checkout and the game panel are in final testing, and each opens on the site as soon as it is ready.

Which frameworks and server types do you support?

We maintain templates for six frameworks: Vanilla, Paper, Spigot, Purpur, Forge, and Fabric. Paper, Spigot, and Purpur are the high performance choices for plugin servers; Forge and Fabric run mods and modpacks; Vanilla is the official server software as released.

How much RAM does my server get?

Allocations start at 2 GB of RAM and scale in 2 GB steps, so you can match the allocation to your player count and modpack and add capacity later without switching plans.

What hardware runs my server?

Your server runs on our dedicated Xeon E3-1270 v6 host, with about 24 GB of the host's RAM reserved for game servers.

How do I manage my server?

Servers are managed through the Pterodactyl panel with full panel access and a live console: start, stop, and restart your server, browse your files, and pull backups. The panel is in final testing right now and opens on the site as soon as it is ready.

How do I get support?

Two channels: support tickets on the website and our Discord. Client tickets are live now, so open a ticket from your client area and our staff will reply, or reach out on Discord.

Are backups included?

Yes. We maintain server backups on a published schedule, and we recommend keeping your own copies of your world using the panel's backup and download tools as well.

What is your refund policy?

If you are a new customer, you may request a full refund of your first billing, which includes the first monthly payment and the setup fee, within 3 days of first activation, for any reason. You request it by opening a support ticket in your client area or by contacting us in our official Discord. Renewal payments are not refundable. The complete policy is section 8 of the Terms of Service.

Is the setup fee refundable?

The one time $20 setup fee is refundable at any time if we fail to provision your service. It is also included in the 3 day first-billing refund window described in section 8 of the Terms of Service, which has the exact wording.

Do you guarantee uptime?

We target high availability, but we do not publish an uptime guarantee and we do not offer SLA credits. If something goes wrong, open a support ticket and we will get on it.
