How automatic backups work on your server and how to schedule more
BackupsWhat every plan includes
Every base plan includes 2 backup slots with daily backups. The daily run is scheduled for you, and a backup can also be taken by hand at any time from the backup controls on your server's page.
Where backups live in the panel
Backups are panel-side. The Schedules tab carries the scheduled runs, and the backup list sits on your server's page, where each backup shows with its controls.
What a slot is, honestly
A slot holds one backup. Base plans give you 2, and a daily schedule will fill both. When the slots are full, the next backup needs room first: free a slot in the panel by deleting an older backup. Deleting a backup is permanent, so delete on purpose.
Backup Plus: more slots, more cadence, downloads
Backup Plus is a 2.99 per month addon. It adds 2 extra backup slots (4 total), adds a 7-day backup schedule, and lets you download a backup as a zip from the panel.
Scheduling more
The schedule that runs your daily backup lives under the Schedules tab, where it can be read and adjusted. To move backup runs to a cadence that fits your world, change the schedule or add one there. We make no timing promises: a backup takes what it takes for your server's size, and we print no invented durations.
The honest limits
- Slots are capped: 2 on a base plan, 4 with Backup Plus.
- Backups are kept in the node's separate backup store, not inside your server's storage: they take backup slots, not your storage quota. Your storage quota covers your world and its files.
- Keep a copy that is yours: with Backup Plus, a downloaded zip lands wherever you put it.
- A backup's restore control puts its files back on your server from the panel. Check the server after a restore before you delete anything else.
- Backups live on the same node today. If that ever changes, this page says so.
