A tour of your control panel

Control panel

In Control panel Updated October 17, 2026

Your control panel is the room your server lives in: files, console, schedules, backups, and the restart switch, all inside one screen set, and every tool on this page is one you can open today.

Getting there

Log in at panel.carbonhosting.xyz and open your server's page. That page is home base: it shows the connection details players use to join, it carries the resource graphs, and the tabs on it are the tools this tour walks. One account ties the whole thing together: the site, the store, and your tickets all key off the same account, and signing in with Discord also works as a way in.

The file manager

The Files tab is your server's disk in a browser. You can create folders, upload files, open a text file, edit it, and save it. That short loop handles most day to day server work: a settings change is an open, an edit, and a save, and a new plugin jar is an upload. The file manager has its own article, and it walks the loop as numbered steps; this tour hands you the paragraph, the article hands you the recipe.

The plugins folder

Plugins arrive as jars, and the file manager's upload control places a jar straight into the plugins folder. There is no plugin marketplace in our panel and nothing installs by itself: you pick the plugin, we run the server. The full routine, version fit first, then upload, restart, and the console check that proves the jar came up, lives in the plugins article in the knowledge base beside this tour; the tour does not retell it.

The restart control

The restart control sits on your server's page. It is the switch behind most changes: upload a jar, edit a config, change a property, and the change applies when the server restarts. Restart, let the startup finish, and read the console while it runs: that pairing of change, restart, and console read is the working rhythm of this whole tool set.

The console

The console is the server's honest read. It shows live output while your server runs, and it accepts commands you send to that running server. The startup lines are where a plugin shows up or fails to, and the console article turns that read into a verification habit worth forming on day one.

The Schedules tab

Schedules live under the Schedules tab, where they can be read and adjusted. One schedule is already running the day your server starts: the daily backups run on a pre-made schedule. Adding or adjusting schedules sits on that same tab, and its honest limits travel with it in the schedules article.

The backup list

The backup list sits on your server's page, and each backup shows there with its own controls. That is this tour's whole say on backups: what a slot means, what restore does, and how the daily runs behave all belong to the backups article, linked below. A second article telling that story would be one too many, so this page points and stops.

One account behind it all

The account you sign in with is the account a ticket opens from, and every store action keys off it too. One identity from the first sign-in to every follow-up: simpler to remember, and easier to check when someone needs to help you.

Not in the panel, and owned plainly

  • No plugin marketplace, and no one-click installers: the published posture stays exactly as it is. You pick the plugin, we run the server.
  • Nothing beyond the tools above walks this tour: the tool set you just read is the tool set. If your screen and this page ever disagree, that disagreement is a question for a ticket, not a feature to guess into the record.
